Can PVC panels be used for shower surrounds?

PVC panels may be used as decorative cladding in properly planned wet-area systems. The panel alone is not a substitute for required waterproofing. Performance depends on the substrate, waterproofing where required, compatible adhesive, sealed seams, corners, perimeter edges, penetrations, ventilation, and maintenance. A qualified installer is recommended.

How many panels do I need?

Start by calculating the wall area in square feet and divide by approximately 36 sq. ft. per panel. Then account for openings, cuts, pattern placement, waste, and future repairs. Final quantities should be verified before ordering.

What trims are available?

CHILTAN offers gold and silver profiles for edges, corners, middle or joint transitions, and ends. Confirm the correct profile for your layout before ordering.

How should the panels be cleaned?

Use a soft cloth and a cleaning method suitable for the decorative surface. Avoid abrasive tools and harsh chemicals that may scratch, cloud, or damage the finish.

Will the physical color exactly match my screen?
